Hi Friends..., For today's post, here is a beautiful purple story!!!
Just a few days back, one morning, I noticed this sweet potato in my onion - potato basket. Actually I had used half of it, and had kept the other half in this basket. To my surprise, I could see the purple color sprouts in it.!!
I soon took it out and placed it in a small plate with some water. The sprouts began to grow!!
Within 3 to 4 days, they have grown more than 6 inches in hight, and I thought I can shift it to a pot.

I know that it's a creeper, which has got to be planted in soil. But because of scarcity of space, and as I didn't want to throw it out, I made this job.

This is a great post. I too like a little bit of gardening but I am not so knowledgeable about it. Simple home tips and tricks of gardening , like in this post are very helpful. Ahh that's great indeed. I used to do that for Tulasi, when I saw that my Tulasi plant is going to die. I have taken some of the seeds and planted them in the same pot. So when my original Tulasi was dead my new born Tulasi is already 3-4 inches tall. Now I am taking good care of it.
