The more common name for this cute guy or girl is a Long-Tailed Sun Skink. He eats lots of bugs so he's more than welcome to stay!
It's a very brave little thing that will allow you to stroke his head. Although they can bite if you try and pick one up and it can draw blood, it's not venomous!
Skink's tails break off if attacked and wiggle around to distract predators as they make their escape. They ten grow a new one! Clever Skink.
