This creature was a wild goat that was common in Southern France before becoming extinct in the year 2000. There are subspecies that still exist today. Amazingly scientists cloned the Pyrenean ibex and one was born in 2003. It died from what was thought to be a lung defect. 
Maybe scientist will try to clone this species again...we live in a strange world.
