Today I had to make a delivery from Amsterdam Airpoirt to Venlo in The South. On my way back I decided to take a look in de peatlands called, 'De Peel'. I was walking like 2 hours in this aera called Mariapeel and take a few pictures.

To restore the damage caused by peat harvesting in the past.
There is a lot of water management in this aera.

To make it more acid for the peat moss wood is thrown in the water.

There are goats and sheep to keep the grass short.
