Larvae on the glass

my two queen colony is going strong.

i put a cricketin there but they didn't do much with it. so, i broke it into pieces, as it was quite dry. This added some interest. Spiders seem to be the most desired dinner though.

They have stuck the larvae to the formicarium glass. i guess it provides the most stable temperature. The little ants caretake them diligently

This batch of larvae seems bigger than the first batch.

I guess one could view immortality in this way. That your DNA, genetic code, continues on, beyond the Now, beyond the self.
