Tilicho Lake
The lake is situated in Manang district of Nepal at an altitude of 4919 metre in Annapurna range of the Himalayas. This lake is also known as the lake situated at the highest altitude in the world.
Gosaikunda Lake
This lake is situated in Rasuwa District and is a major attraction of Langtang National Park. It is located at an altitude of 4380 metre. This lake has been believed to be created by Lord Shiva acccording to Hindu mythology and is a famous pilgrims site for Nepalese.
Rara Lake
This lake lies in Jumla and Mugu district of Nepal at an altitude of 2990 metre. It is a major attraction of Rara National Park. The water is blue and fresh. It is the biggest lake of Nepal.
Phewa Lake
Phewa lake is located in Pokhara district of Nepal at an altitude of 742 metre. Sarangkot is the place from where you can do paragliding over Phewa Lake and observe beauty of Fishtail Mountain.
Phoksundo Lake
This lake is a major attraction for tourist in Shey Phoksundo National Park. It is situated at an altitude of 3612 metre in Dolpa district of Nepal. On the southern end, one can observe the 40000 year old landslide dam that formed the lake.
For me, paragliding over Fewa is the best part to chill out!
