The Mutillidae (the panda-ant) may look cute, but its sting is extremely painful! But are not aggressive and sting only in defense. One such fact is the fact that Panda ants technically are not an ants but a wasps.

The Mutillidae (the panda-ant) are a family of more than 3,000 species of wasps, these insects own their name from their hair coloration (black and white) resembling that of the chinese panda.

    Mutillidae can be found in Chile and Argentina.

What do they eat?
they feed on nectar.
