Headed south to Union Avenue in Center Moriches. The road ends at a dock on Moriches Bay, L.I. Just a couple three cars and some Cormorants resting on some old pilings sticking out of the water.
Cormorants are coastal sea birds that dive from the surface to catch fish. They can reach depths of 10 metres .
They can get as big as 11 lbs. and a wing span of over 3 feet.
*This one is drying it's wings by keeping them spread .
It was after 3 pm with the Bay being calm and mirror like.
