Part II - A Pleasant Walk In A Serene Park --New York's Slice Of Paradise!

in nature •  7 years ago  (edited)

I'm so excited to share some photos I took in a beautiful setting located in the northwestern part of the Bronx. I have previously shot a VIDEO when we went there a few days ago. You can watch it here if you haven't yet.

It's a huge park with many beautiful and functional areas. You can play golf, soccer, baseball, volleyball, basketball, go fishing, jogging, ride your bike, take a pleasant stroll or just hang out by the like for some R&R. It's gorgeous, clean and peaceful.

Look how peaceful it is. I can just read a book right on this spot all day!

I would love one day to grab my paint and brushes and get inspired by this beautiful scene!

Even the ducks and their ducklings feel content here...

This is just one of the many areas of this park. Next time I go I'll snap photos of the other exciting areas of this beautiful park. I hope you enjoyed it!

Great. Thanks for sharing. I'm starting to follow you.

Hi! Thanks @capari! I appreciate it!

I'm so glad to catch your post on the live feed! What a lovely park and great photos !! ENjoyed and thank you for sharing.

Hi @Sacka! I appreciate you stopping by.. I agree... it's such a lovely park. Unlike Central park, this place is less crowded... perfect for when you just want some peace and quiet. :)

We all need to connect with nature and escape the crowd for some peace and quiet. Finding a balance seems more challenging these days but I'm determined. Great post you are like a breathe of fresh air and sunshine!! :)

100% true. Thank you @sacka. Bless your heart. :)

You don't say what park you are actually in. I'm guessing Van Cortlandt?
