Kecapi Fruit ( Boh Seutui)

If you listen the name of that fruits, I believe that your teeth was pain when you remember of the taste of this fruit which so acid. Kecapi or in Aceh "Boh Seutui" is a fruit that come from Malaka Peninsula that spreaded to Indonesia. The ''Boh Seutui'' has latin name as Sandoricum Koetjape. That fruits form was flat but tend to round. It has in golden brass and there are fuzz which sticking to the skin. On their flesh, the outside of the flesh is in red, somewhat hard and their taste was acid. But at inside flesh, is in white, sticky with the seeds and their taste is sweet.

The "Boh Seutui" usually eat by mix it with salt and cayenne pepper and it is also make as candied. Although the "Boh Seutui'' was in small size and looks simple. you cannot underestimated about the benefits of that fruit. And there are some benefits of it:

  1. Treating the fever
  2. Abdominal pain medication
  3. Reinforcing the women after childbirth
  4. As anti cancer
  5. Treating the worm disease
  6. Lowering the cholesterol
  7. Smooth te digestion
  8. Inhibits the skin tumor cells
