Lily At The Wasserpark Pond

Wasserpark as what I have told in my previous blog is a park that is just a few steps away from the Health Center. And while hubby had a dental appointment the other day, we dropped him off at the dentists and Lily and I went further to the Park and pond so I could show her the ducks. There are two ponds actually in this park, one smaller and adjascent to this one is the bigger pond where the swans have an island to dwell in during wintertime.

This is Lily´s first time here and I let her go near the water so we can feed the ducks and other birds. But then...she refused to go and instead stood like a goat and moved her face away from me towards her right... hahaha, either she´s scared at those doves, ducks and swans or didn´t want to go near the water because she´s always afraid of the water.

At any rate, because Lily is too chubby, I had her on the leash and took her for a long walk around the pond and the park. She had to move anyways. She gained weight after her sterilization and would beg from mom in-law to give her more snacks. Lily has been with us for three years now since my mom in-law´s passing.

This male duck came out of the water towards me and Lily and wanted to be fed, so he came to us and in front of me waited for the bread I was holding... They are used to the park visitors feeding them. The feeding months begin in March and ends in November.

We will surely come here again when the weather permits. We are still hoping that Spring would begin any day now.
