The Grey Fantail

in nature •  7 years ago

The Grey fantail, Rhipidura albiscapa, is very active little birds that is contantly on the move doing all sorts of acrobatics in persuit of insects. They are also very inquisitive birds. If you make squeaky noises with your lips they will often come up fairly close to see whats going on. The first shot below was taken this afternoon. I've also included an older shot which shows where it gets the name fantail.
