Spanish Moth (Xanthopastis timais) Also know as the Afro Afro Moth

Always keep an eye out for something unusual

I have a love of nature and an interest in insects in particular. One say I saw this beautiful moth by my front door. After some research I found it is a Spanish Moth, common where I live in South Florida.

    Nice moth...our moth in Germany are not so nice :-(
    They are black or grey. But this moth from your picture is very beautyful!
