Hi everyone.

I think it's time to stop deforestation! And yesterday I heard about how China can now grow crops in the desert!


Chinese researchers developed an organic paste to do this.
The paste is made from organic plant material.







When the paste is mixed with desert sand and water, it turns into soil.
The desert sand then gains the ability to retain water and nutrients

What an amazing achievement! And now China, working on converting a patch of desert into the soil for 6 months has turned 200 hectares of the desert into rich farmland.
