Meet T-63 "Chainsaw". He is one of our iconic male Orcas found off the waters of Vancouver Island. Born to T-65, he is approximately 40 years old. He got the name "Chainsaw" because of the notches out of his Dorsal Fin. We had a great encounter with him and 10 others off Saturna Island as they hunted Seals and Porpoises last Sunday. T-63 is part of the Biggs Orca group, mammal hunters, a North Pacific ecotype of orca.
