Where Botany, History, and Art Meet- Another Adventure in The Botanical Gardens: This Time In St. Louis, Part 3

Until this visit, I had no clue what a Climatron was. So, naturally, it was the first thing I wanted to visit when we got inside the park. Luckily, it was near the entryway, too. Come to find out, The Climatron houses an indoor rainforest full of fruit trees such as oranges, bananas, cocoa, and coffee. There were also hibiscus', orchids and cycads abound, and crazy cool plants I had never heard of like the "dumb cane,""the devil plant", a "false bird of paradise," and a cool looking thing called the "quesnelia."

It was such a nice break from the chilly rainy weather to be inside a man-made rainforest!
