Bees are going Extinct

in nature •  7 years ago

A recent UN report showed that bees and other pollinators are threatened with global extinction -- and we rely on them for 75 percent of our food crops.

We need to stop killing bees and the best way to do that is making sure neonic pesticides get off our shelves.

The BeeDefender Alliance in Europe is taking on Bayer in a massive legal battle, and it works directly with many of the beekeepers affected by mass bee die-offs.

You can help by donating to a non-profit organization called SumOfUs who will in turn use the money towards directly financing a legal team to fight against bee killing coorporations like Bayer and Monsanto.

It is getting to be a rare thing to see a wild honeybee here in the Southeast US. Ten years ago, bees were always around our flowers and vegetables. I have not seen one this spring. Bumblebees have increased to fill the niche, but they are not very good pollinators.

thank you for sharing this info, what a great cause.

YesI saw a similar report, we need to make changes to protect our planet
