Fishing Bobber
The Giant Tossed His Line in and lo... he waited...!
A few days ago, I noticed the GHiant's sink and his cooking supplies, in the sink waiting cleaning.
More of my Cape Cod wanderings found here!
No idea why my mind goes there... but it does. I saw this out there, past the sink of his, and thought, oh, he must be fishing? that's his bobber, the float, to let him know when something is nibbling on his lure or bait. It moves against the waves and winds, when the big fishy takes the bait. Always, I strive to give back
To the animals and birds around me
to put more plants in than I take out
And be a good steward for the world around me!

For real though, the mooring ball, deep in this estuary, is probably for a smaller boat. Maybe something 25 foot in length or less. The trip in from the ocean is long enough to get out of the currents and open ocean waves, and still passes thru some shallows, so, no larger boats are there. It is cool to see, floating... and soon enough, we'll see someone's boat on the hook, as we say!
