Dun Skipper (Euphyes Vestris)

Oh yes, I was in heaven when I saw this dun skipper on my white cone flowers! I am a sucker for butterflies, and I will spend lot of time chasing after them for a shot of a good image.

As you know, butterflies/skippers/bees only come around in the summer months for me here in Michigan; and usually July and August are the hottest months. So when I followed them or stood in heat, I sweat buckets just to get a few shots if they stopped long enough for me to snap.

Lovely capture Icy. I haven’t been able to get a shot at the few butterflies around here. Last year the Painted Lady butterflies came in September.
