What a huge win for the Toronto Raptors as they open the NBA Finals with a win against the defending champions Golden State Warriors! This is also a very important win for the Raptors as they have finally tasted their first win in the NBA Finals ever since Toronto entered in the NBA with a score of 118 - 109.

A monstrous performance by the Cameroonian Paskal Siakam with his 32 point performance that lifted the Raptors to win in front of their home crowd. It was followed by Kawhi Leonard's 23 pts, Marc Gasol's 20 pts, and Fred Vanvleet's 25 points. It was indeed an amazing night in Scotiabank Arena and the Raptors fans went roar for their first ever NBA Finals victory.
Even my friends online who are rooting for Raptors to win went wild also to my friends living in Toronto were really hyped with the win. The Game 1 is in their bag and they're looking to capitalize another home court advantage in Game 2.
Meanwhile, Stephen Curry led the Warrior with his 34 point performance, Klay Thompson added 21 points, Draymond Green contributed 10, Kevon Looney scored 9, and the rest of the team contributed 35 points. It wasn't enough to defeat the heavily inspired Toronto Raptors which ignited ever since they acquired Kawhi Leonard in their team.
The NBA Finals Game two will be on the 3rd of June, 2019 (Philippine Standard Time GMT+8) at the same arena : Scotiabank Arena.
I'm still rooting for the warriors but I had to admit. Raptors is doing shockingly good.
