In his rookie season Allen “The Answer” Iverson became the first rookie in NBA history to score 40+ ppoints in five consecutive games. He scored 44 points, 40 points, 44 points, 5o points and lastly, 40 big points. The excitement we witnessed was priceless in their era. Allen Iverson had a ninja like crossover and release with skills beyond his age. The Answer started the ankle breaking crossovers in NBA, wherein many defenders who defended him were outmatched by his speed, footwork and immense ball handling skills. Iverson has had a great compilation of plays in which his mastery of the art of crossovers are being showcased, one of those NBA players who experienced Iverson’s well-known crossover is Michael Jordan. Iverson was a scoring machine because of his ability of takig advantage of mismatches after making crossovers, wherein he buries those two pointers with a high percentage of making t to the basket. Too bad for The Answer, he had not won an NBA Finals trophy and ring. Anyways, up to this day he is still considered as one of the many greatest players to play in the game that made historical and exciting plays.
