The Problem
The following are the problems which served as the basis for the study
- How may a manual nebulizer (bicycle pump) be described?
- How do the different types of bicycle pump affect the time it takes the asthma patients to consume the 5ml liquid?
- Is there significant difference between the time it takes the foot-operated pump and hand-operated pump to consume the 5ml liquid?
- Is there significant difference between the time it takes for a manual nebulizer and regular nebulizer to consume the 5 ml liquid?
The Hypothesis
There is no significant difference between the time it takes the foot-operated pump and hand-operated pump to consume the 5ml liquid.
There is no significant difference in the time it takes manual nebulizer and regular nebulizer to consume the 5 ml liquid.
A. Why is this research important?
The study addresses the lack of medication of patients with respiratory ailments, particularly asthma, by creating an alternative nebulizer that is cost efficient and easy to use. Furthermore, it does not require electricity to operate and only manpower is needed which can be a sort of exercise to them.
