NEEDLEWORKMONDAY - CROCHETMENTORING

Hello everybody,

I am so happy that my granddaughter, Avril Jzaniah, pursued to crochet. It's really in the blood.
This was her work! Without me...

I can still vividly remember when I visited them in Cavite, when I stayed for 1week, I brought along my work in progress, making bracelets, earrings and bags made of tiny cords..



She always sat beside me and asked how I did it. So, in here young age I mentored her.


We laughed at her eagerness to learn the craft!

Then, things changed, they transferred to Cebu then to Singapore. I really thought she was not interested in crochet anymore. In 2016, they came back to Cebu for good. Her mom, my daughter invited us for a vacation here in Cebu. We met again, I encouraged her again to crochet. I gave her yarns to practice again, and invited her to participate in my yarn bombing activities. These were her works...


We lived separately so, we communicated through pm.
She send me her first made coin purse...

Wow! Am proud as a Crochet Mentor Grandma!

Then, I uploaded my video tutorial on how to make a simple headband in YouTube.

I didn't knew that she followed my video, made her own and submitted to their class! She thanked me for teaching her how to crochet for she was ahead of her classmates, and submitted first her project, My Fillet Headband!
