I should know better by now.

I went to the craft store to get a new color wheel. Thats all I was going for I swear! Right before I got to the color wheels however, I had to pass a clearance shelf with roving masquerading as yarn. Normally I would just walk by, get what I was there for and get out but my craft-culator kicked in. "35oz per skein spins up to 2+ pounds of fiber. Thats a sweater per skein once spun to a worsted weight! One of these skeins must come home with us if only to be ready for the tour de fleece this summer!". So I bought 3. I believe in being extra prepared.

Extra prepared is always good.
My philosophy is to always check the clearance shelves, often there is enough of a really nice yarn for a garment.
Okay, I have to ask: what's the tour de fleece?

The Tour de fleece is a yearly event where during the tour de France cycling race spinners set spinning goals and go for it. Getting into a team is best but not required. Makes for more fun when you get together , (and maybe drink), while you show off what you accomplished! You gotta do it!

Sounds fun!
