NESTBOX CAM UPDATE

In today’s update I’ve noticed the blue tit has started to bring in something that looks like nesting material

For a bird that has kept the box so clean each day I can only imagine she’s on the verge starting to build a nest

I know I sometimes refer to the blue tit as she but I’m sure it’s the female that builds the nest

Hopefully over the next few days it should become more apparent to what is going on

If she is building a nest I have no idea how long it will take her, so it’s fingers crossed things are about to get a lot more interesting

One thing I’m beginning to think is rather than the temperature it’s more to do with day light hours because it’s bloody freezing here at the moment. Thanks to everyone who follows this series. Cheers mike
