#OpChangeTheWorld2 🌍 Renewable energy
Adding a wing to cargo ships that transport goods around the world would reduce fuel consumption. Especially if it is sails covered with photovoltaic panels!
Making international shipping independently autonomous: this is the challenge that two Frenchmen, Gilles Serre, engineer, and Cyril Bécu, yachtsman, have set themselves. Their project, dubbed Bagaille Moon Fou, is to design first a pleasure boat of 31 m with a wing of 300 m2 covered with photovoltaic panels supplying an electric motor. Their goal, ultimately, will be to build bigger ships, type freighters, 100% autonomous. A first attempt has already been made and succeeded on a sand yacht.
This project "Crazy Moon Wretch" took shape 5 years ago with obviousness and an existential need: The planet, its seas and oceans are dying ... Why mainly? Humanity in its rapid and disrespectful development which destroys his own environment. The "Crazy Moon Crazy" project, which potentiates the revolutionary technology SSRS®, responds with total and sustainable efficiency to one of the most important causes of the pollution of the seas and oceans and global warming : Maritime transport.
