Some Amazing People Hopped on Steemit Lately...

As we all know by now I'm all about that politics grind. Specifically the kind that doesn't get discussed openly on our bought mainstream frequencies...
So it is much to my delight that my two favourite political comedians have joined the ranks of the Steemit community!

Both of them tend to impress and inspire me on a daily basis and when they both began complaining on their shows about censorship on regular social media [facebook youtube etc] I had my fingers crossed that they would join Steemit so that they could experience content creation in an uncensored environment rewarded directly by a community of people who focus on quality of content vs how clean your content is for sponsorship or ads.....

Of Redacted Tonight! Comedian, actor, writer and host, his work is....
it's amazing.
Uncompromising and generally full of excellent rants and metaphors, he is my go to for introducing people to what is actually going on in American politics. He's also my fave for people who think they know what's going on [and almost do] but need just a liil extra nudge of stark reality to get the whole picture. His show "Redacted Tonight" which airs on Russia Today on Friday nights is very much like The Daily Show" in format...but you know not full of bullshit and half truths XD Highly recommended. Fuckin hilarious.
When I grow up I want to be Lee Camp. No lie.

The Jimmy Dore Show

Jimmy Dore is, as many of you know, the reason that I ultimately started doing my shows on @dlive. In one of his many epic rants on listening to each other he talked about the need for more voices, more people talking about things that are unfashionable to the status quo. And that you should just get on and start talking. So, I did!
His show is a lot more like a talk show since he has guests on like The Miserable Liberal and Ron Placone
[ you two need a Steemit channel too!] and he brings up current news to discuss, generally live. [Perhaps we will see him switching his live shows from youtube on to @dlive....!!!] His opinions are frank and very real and his rants make me cry laughing at times. I also appreciate how level headed he is with his observations. He criticizes everyone equally!

So please be sure to follow and upvote and show mad love to these two. They are the voice of the counter culture and I hope they find lots of support and love on Steemit. After all, we did kinda build this place for them didn't we??
