We're currently living in New Braunfels, Texas and it has been an amazing time out by the Comal River. We can walk 2 minutes to Wurstfest, 6 minutes to Hinman Island - probably the best place to get into the Comal River (in a tube of course!) and it's a 12 minute walk downtown. Love living here so far among the Ancient German Texans! Fishing is a priority - as you would assume with 2 rivers nearby.
