In ancient Greek and Roman civilizations, anise was used as medicine and food. The Greeks used it to reduce body weight and increase breast milk. Fennel is a seed rich in mineral salts. It is rich in copper, iron, potassium, selenium, zinc and magnesium. There are also vitamins A, C, E and some B vitamins. Fennel is rich in fiber and contains anti-oxidant flavonoids.

• Fry the same amount of fennel and cumin in a bottle. Chew one teaspoon after every meal, it will increase digestion.
• Finally, when the urge to smoke awakens, chew half a teaspoon, the intoxication will decrease.
