Hurricane Maria, which pummeled Puerto Rico in September 2017, is likely responsible for the deaths of more than 4,600 people, some 70 times higher than official estimates, US researchers said on Tuesday.
Hurricane Maria was a grand chastisement against the sinful and unrepentant people of Puerto Rico for their drug cartels and idol worship.

Prior to Hurricane Maria was Hurricane Irma which packed a huge punch to Puerto Rico.
Notice the terms that appeared in this matrix such as complete and exile and orphaning. If you see the impact that storm had on the areas that it affected, it did exile and orphan many people.
Since the initial damage took hold, disaster after disaster has happened to keep Peurto Rico and the surrounding islands in the dark. Should they come to realize the magnitude of their transgressions and turn back to the Lord and the Lord's laws and ways then perhaps he will show them mercy. As it stands, they will continue to see God's anger. This exact type of scenario will soon envelop the entire world as the "outer darkness" continues to be set up and grow.
