Bloomberg also states that the directors from both companies are in good relationships and that might lead to a contract between Toyota and Uber in producing the autonomous driving car.

A tweet from the chief of Uber after meeting with the directors from Toyota revealed that "very good talks about increasing autonomous partnership" have taken place.

Two years ago Toyota bought shares at Uber without revealing any numbers, but since then researches in the field of autonomous driving cars have been initiated separately for both companies.
