UK is working on a law to prevent teens under the age of 18 from watching porn on the internet. Thus 35 million grownups living in England that wish to access pornographic content websites will have to register with their personal data.
Apparently protecting children from accessing pornographic content may not seem such a bad idea, but adults that wish to visit websites like Porn Hub, RedTube and YouPorn will have to register with their personal data. It's like opening a Facebook account on the UK's Government platform considering that your data may be collected the way Facebook did.
We will see if the Government will register only your identification data without snooping on you and your activity on the websites mentioned above. The move was made by Theresa May while British Board of Film Classification will decide which sites are labeled as "porn" content sites.
On the other hand Playboy has decided to follow the Elon Musk trend and delete their Facebook fan page. Millions of users that were enjoying the models pictured by the famous company on the social media platform will have to bite their fingers from now on...
“There are more than 25 million fans who engage with Playboy via our various Facebook pages, and we do not want to be complicit in exposing them to the reported practices. That is why we have announced that we will be leaving Facebook's platform, deactivating the Playboy accounts that Playboy Enterprises manages directly.”

Following the news lately I can say that either governments and big companies started to protect our personal data and their personal data more on the giant web or they just want to control it better. The #deletefacebook trend has just started and its interesting to see where it's going. I just hope privacy will be again privacy.
