According to the new rules for advertising the world's largest social network Facebook, users will no longer be able to advertise ICO and crypto-currency, including bitcoin.
As stated in the message, the two key principles of the company regarding advertising are that ads must be reliable and win people's trust. In this regard, notes on Facebook, there is no place for misleading or deceptive ads in this social network.
"We have adopted a new policy that prohibits the advertising of financial products and services, which are often associated with misleading or deceptive activities: binary options, primary offers of coins and crypto currency," the statement says.
The company added that it wants Facebook users to learn about new products and services without fear of becoming a victim of scammers. At the same time, many organizations that deal with the activities listed above are not acting well.

It is also noted that the new rules were specially broad enough to allow the company to have more opportunities to track misleading advertising. Also, the new Facebook policy extends to its other platforms, including Audience Network and Instagram.
