BEIRUT, LEBANON (12:00 P.M.) - The Syrian Arab Army (SAA) has sent a large number of reinforcements to northern Syria this week in response to the upcoming Turkish military operation east of the Euphrates, a source told Al-Masdar News on Tuesday.
According to the source, the Syrian Arab Army has sent several military units to the northern and eastern countrysides of Aleppo and southern part of Al-Raqqa.
In particular, the Syrian Army sent reinforcements to Deir Jamal near Tal Rifa'at in northern Aleppo, Tadif in eastern Aleppo, and Al-Resafa in southern Al-Raqqa.
The Syrian Arab Army reportedly made this decision to reinforce these fronts in response to the Turkish military's mass mobilization of rebel troops in the Euphrates River Valley region of Syria.
Furthermore, it appears that the Syrian Army has reinforced the Al-Hasakah front over the last few days, as more soldiers were seen around the provincial capital and Qamishli City.
Earlier this month, the Turkish regime announced that their forces were preparing to clear the 'terrorists' from the eastern region of the Euphrates River Valley.
The 'terrorists' referenced by the Turkish regime are the Kurdish-led People's Protection Units (YPG) and Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF).
The aforementioned groups are currently embedded with the U.S. Coalition in northern Syria.
