Although I am very much against segregating Muslims into sects like Sunnis and Shias for instance, since it's very much against the core teachings of Islam and against the explicit verses of the Quran, I'm just using the term here to reply to a particular question.
A question was put on the Quora's platform and I was tagged for an answer came as follows: Are Lebanon's Sunnis being persecuted?
Lebanese terrorist cell
I'm copying the full reply here, as usual, in order to preserve my contents from Quora's heavy censorship and also to engage the readers here in the discussion, here's what my reply there is:
A large sum of the Lebanese Sunnis are persecuted by Saudi agents in Lebanon working hard to mobilize them politically against their own brethren of all other sects.
The only horrific crimes committed against the Lebanese in general, including against the Sunnis were by Christian militias headed by today’s Saudi main agent called Geagea who blew up the helicopter carrying the top Sunni Lebanese leader and the sitting prime minister of that time Rashid Karami, he was indicted for the crime and others like blowing up a church and slaughtering the entire family of a Christian foe, he was pardoned by other Christians and with the support of the Saudi agents who came to power post the mysterious killing of Rafic Hariri, who now we know from the international criminal court’s records that his son and successor in the prime minister post as PM (later on and for a long time) Saad manipulated fake witnesses to accuse firstly Syria then later the Lebanese resistance movement Hezb Allah.
Terrorist groups following the anti-Islamic Wahhabi religion promoted by Saudi try always to recruit among the poorer Sunni communities in Lebanon and radicalize them against their own country. Similarly, some Palestinian factions tried to do the same but were largely marginalized by the Syrian Army when it was in Lebanon aiding the Lebanese state and helped stop the civil war there, and later by the Lebanese Army.
So yes, the Sunnis not only in Lebanon but mostly everywhere else are persecuted by the Saudis, and now by the anti-Islamic Muslim Brotherhood cult ruling Turkey who carry out instructions from their own masters in the west, see what Erdogan said about the role he was assigned by George W. Bush in the region: Erdogan: Turkey is assigned a leading role in a great project in the region.

End of my reply on Quora
One needs to be very careful with the narratives of questions published online, the intentions behind asking such questions, and by whom? From my humble experience, I can confidently state that the vast majority of political and social questions asked, especially related to our region - the Levant, are not innocent, to say the least, most of the answers and online contents as well.
