Aprilia brought te name Caponord to life, which was delighted with lovers of Italian motorcycles. But the long pause was somehow erased from the heads of motorcyclists who flirt with great endurance motorcycles.

A comfortable and upright position for a wide enduro rudder, which does not tremble even after a long drive, is not the only trump card, even though we must congratulate the Italians that they have finally made a traveling enduro, which really deserves the adjective 'great', and it also makes it comfortable for everyone, which is better than the average Italian motorist expects. Aprilia really puts on its technology that has been incorporated, and here comfort is one of the main elements. Caponord has an active suspension, which ensures that the ride is always comfortable. Sachs engineers from Friedrichshafen have provided excellent front suspension and active dynamic rear axle buffer. The result is a super comfortable ride, which is constantly adapted to the rhythm of driving and the condition of the road. Aprilia successfully continues the tradition of excellent driving characteristics, as the motorcycle is driving intuitively and allows the driver to blend into one with it. However, the list of modern technical delicacies is not yet complete. The 1,197-cubic V-bevel roller with a 90 degree angle roller, capable of 125 'horses' and 114.8 nm of torque at 6,800 rpm, can be adjusted according to your wishes or again after what is encountered under the wheels. Three programs (sport, touring and rain) offer the option of choosing when, for example, it is poured out from a cupboard and large amounts of water are poured along the asphalt. This makes driving reliable, as the system closely monitors the rear wheel, which does not slide in the rain program during acceleration. The disconnection of the electronics is not rough but soft enough to not disturb the motoriness of the motorcycle. For a tranquil trip, touring is the best engine program of operation. With a more robust acceleration, the rear wheelbase control system will quickly turn on, but this again makes it uncomfortable. For more sporting pleasures, however, you have no other choice than the sport program, which is unfortunately somewhat hypersensitive or responds immediately and does not allow electronically controlled scrolling through the bends. Well, for those who master or want a very dynamic ride, where the rear wheel takes off, there is still the option of turning off all fuses and can be locked in the supermoto style through the bends.

The engine on the paper is not the strongest, but during the run we did not miss more power. The entire motorcycle can run smoothly at a slower pace, but it does not in any way resist the more dynamic driving style.

When making the final assessment, the decision is not difficult. A very good, truly excellent motorcycle at a moderate price, which can boast of exceptional driving dynamics and ease of feeling and so much safety electronics that you can take it in late autumn to the north. Just turn on the heated handle on the handlebar and put on a raincoat.
