WikiLeaks has released another portion of CIA secret documents describing the work of a secret webcam and microphone control program.

In the new publication of the WikiLeaks web site, within his own Vault 7 project, the following is said:

"Today, August 3, 2107 WikiLeaks published the Dumbo project materials. This is a tool for interrupting and stopping the use of web cameras as well as for damaging any audio and video recordings that could compromise the work of the Physical Access Group (PAG) "

It is clear from the publication that PAG is a special department at the Center for Radio and Intelligence, which is tasked with secretly physically accessing certain computers during CIA operations. Dumbo can be used to protect these operations and stop and erase unwanted CIA recordings.

Dumbo can recognize, control and manage Windows OS computers. The program recognizes webcams and microphones, whether they are wired, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi or anything else. An operator can stop recording audio and video, remove previously recorded audio files, and insert fraudulent media records and other similar information.
