I'm sure there are some of you scrambling to find what is going up fastest and trying to get on the back of it. Wrong wrong wrong.
Why do you think 90% of day traders lose 90% of their capital in 90 days? Buying on FOMO is the worst mistake a rookie trader can make. I'm not preaching, I took a huge hit early in my career doing just that.
My advice as always is the research. My research indicates steemit.com is awesome!!!! Whether you believe that or not you are looking at good short and long term buying at about 4-5% under 24 hour highs.
I'm off to stock up on STEEM then I'm off to bed(big surf comp tomorrow), cashed a little profit from Voxels (article above) check @financialcritic comments
Stay stoked frothers

Yeah if you have belief in the platform and that it's going to grow, you want to be buying on the dips.
I think that's going to be my strategy going forward if there's any panic to take advantage of.

It's got to be. I cleaned up on buying that panic sell. The total market cap was plummeting, a pretty good indication of a sell of that you should just sit tight or buy more if it's in your budget. Essentially what we are buying here is stock in companies. How were all of this brilliant ideas, all of a sudden, in one day simultaneously shit ideas?? Think market mentality people. I advised a sell of 30% on people who took my Voxels tip yesterday. Not because I'm scared of a sell off after the huge profits we jagged in 24 hours (in fact quite the opposite in this rookie led market) but because the information I had, changed. Check the article and the response from @financialcritic in my feed. Perfect teamwork and trading strategy put into play. The more decent minds we have on board the more we can stay on top of this. Feel free to follow both of us. I like hearing from anyone who can understand this stuff and is not just excited by trying to triple their money in a week. I was daytrading commodities and Fiats only 2 months ago, and we never make these sorts of gains. I'm out of that game and into cryptos until 2020. If you're in it for the long haul, I'd love to have any tips. But I'm investing not daytrading so long term stuff suits me better. Cheers frother.

I'm consciously trying to approach Steemit differently from how Facebook has ended up. That place is a cesspool of negativity.

People need to find the demand levels on the chart (a line where previous lows were) and buy where there is maximum fear. The opposite of what most people are self-programmed to do!. Nice to see a fellow trader-surfer on steemit!
