Breakfast might be the most important meal of the day, but I bet when you are sitting there drinking your coffee, and eating your Kellogg's Corn Flakes, that the last thing on your mind is Atomic bombs. Well that might change once you know the history behind the Kellogg Company's, Kellex Corporation, and its intricate part in the development of the first Atomic weapon, through the highly classified Manhattan Project, that was ran in secret for years, many decades ago.
The story goes as follows. At the time the Kellex Corporation was a subsidiary of M. W. Kellogg Company. It was formed in 1942 so that M. W. Kellogg Company operations relating to the Manhattan Project could be kept separate and secret, and was headquartered in the Woolworth Building in Lower Manhattan. The name Kellex was chosen by combining, "Kell", which was short for "Kellogg", and "X", which was short for secret. The newly formed Kellex Corporation was tasked to design a facility for the production of enriched uranium through gaseous diffusion.
This required top secret production plant was then created in Oak Ridge, Tennessee, and was given the code-name, K-25. "K" stood for Kellex, while "25" stood for the common designation for U-235 during the Manhattan project, which was the isotope that was being stripped as part of the project. The production plant was a mile-long U-shaped facility that covered forty-four acres and was four stories high, containing hundreds of miles of coated and hermetically sealed pipes and equipment. When everything was said and done, the Kellex K-25 facility in Oak Ridge, Tennessee was the single most expensive part of the Manhattan Project, which really does say a lot.
Anyways, as an added side note, after the Manhattan Project was complete, the various elements of the Kellex Corporation went through a series of changes of ownership, being absorbed into several different entities over the decades, but it is interesting to note that in the end, shortly prior to 9/11, its primary element was absorbed into the company Brown & Root, to become Kellogg, Brown & Root (KBR), which is a subsidiary of none other than the multinational corporation known as Halliburton. You know, the company Dick Cheney was CEO of, that is before he left to become vice president under Bush? And coincidentally enough, various elements of the Kellex Corporation, can actually be used to tie several important aspects of the TRUE 9/11 story together through a series of direct connections, but I'll leave that story for another video.

So far I am loving the people and concepts that Steemit and the crypto world are creating for the future, and I feel honored to be part of its infancy. Anyways I guess that's about it, and remember let nothing hold you back... FULL STEEM AHEAD!
