The 4.37 km long cuigezhuang horse road in Beijing was officially opened this morning. Along the horse road, there are many famous scenic spots such as heliqi wetland and red brick art gallery. Citizens can not only gallop in professional equestrian competitions, but also ride horses to the park to see the beautiful scenery.
At 10 a.m., the first riders set out on the track at trekozhuang. Along the way, they cross forest land, park, greenway, lake, winery, paddy field, poplar forest and Lavender Forest.
Cuigezhuang is located in the northeast of Beijing city. It is known as "the first township of the national gate" because it is located on the only way to enter the city at high speed. Last year, the construction of the horse road started, with the total length of about 4.37 km, located in the north of shunbai road and east of Beijing Chengcheng expressway. After opening, it not only becomes the competition field of equestrian sports, but also meets the needs of the public for sightseeing, and also provides the services of riding the horse road, light carriage driving and so on. Previously, professional roads were located in the sprawling suburbs. The road of cuigezhuang is crossing the more prosperous area, and the surrounding landscape is more varied, and the forest and lake are interwoven and staggered, and there are famous cultural and creative spaces such as red brick art museum around. It is reported that the road of cuigezhuang has minimized the interference to the environment when selecting the line, kept the texture of the area, promoted the landscape along the line as a whole, and connected the ecological system of the northern space of the township.
Cuigezhuang is closely related to ma. In the Liao and Jin Dynasties, there were records about raising horses here. In the Yuan Dynasty, it became the place where soldiers and horses were stationed. Today's place names such as maquanying, caochangchang, Beigao and nanzifang are all related to it. As early as 20 years ago, cuigezhuang built the first batch of professional racetracks in Beijing. In recent years, according to the development concept of "ecological Township, cultural prosperity", cuigezhuang vigorously excavates and inherits the local horse culture.
Wu xuanhui, Secretary of the Party committee of cuigezhuang Township, said that in the future, cuigezhuang township will hold popular science, culture and art exchange and research activities related to horse culture on the platform of horse road, promote the integration of horse culture and public life, and provide green space for local residents to combine sports and daily rest through interaction with equestrian industry.
"In the future, we will also start the second phase construction of horse road, enhance the experience function of traditional local culture, and build an urban greenway integrating ecological rest, historical recollection, cultural education and sports leisure."
