Neanderthals Made Charcuterie and Wore Tailored Clothing

Great article. I have always been interested in the Neanderthal and why they disappeared. I had my DNA sequenced by 23 and Me. The results claim I have more Neanderthal DNA than 98% of the human population. I think it might be true because it shows my father has more Neanderthal DNA than 99% of the human population.

Haha, sounds familiar! To be honest with you, I am a little sceptical when it comes to those DNA tests... I've heard that some of the sample-DNA for Neanderthals used by (at least) one of the testing regimes, came from a more modern Neanderthal-hybrid exhumed in East Asia?!

I think it is pretty safe to say, those who's ancestry is primarily rooted in Northern and Western Europe are the direct descendent of the Neanderthals and probably have more than 3% of their DNA... but as with everything else, politics gets in the way of our quest for answers and truth.
