I'm at a point right now where I have a hard time again pulling the trigger on bets so I'm taking a low-profile approach mostly sticking to lower stake bets unless I really see good value like Club Brugge -1 which ended up winning comfortably yesterday. 4 matches as always on Sunday...

Anderlecht vs Charleroi

Anderlecht evaded a crisis in week 9 by winning against Kortrijk but this doesn't take away from the fact that their overall team quality is not good enough to really be a contender or a real top team. They are only 9th in the league while at the same time not really getting crushed against the Asian handicap, especially at home where they are 3W-2L. Basically, they are a team that can have good or bad days and it's hard to say in advance what it will be even though I'm always leaning toward them not being impressive also because they don't really create that many chances. Charleroi is 11th and is coming off 2 losses against Westerlo & OH Leuven. They are a team that both manages to create chances but also get plenty against. From the last 3 games they rank 2nd in attempts on target with 5.3 on average. At home where they have to make the play more they are 2W-3L against the Asian handicap and 4.5W-0L-0.5P against the over line while away where they can lay back and play on the counters they are 2W-1L-1P and 2W-1L on the over. My lean is on Charleroi as the underdog but I missed higher odds and am not really willing to chase them. Both teams have a very high 2H ratio home/away at 62.5% and 63.6%. I have a lot of leans but none have enough convicition to actually bet money on so I'm just keeping my discipline for now sticking to No Pre-Game Bets

AA Gent vs Cercle Brugge

AA Gent missed their start again and overall it can be said that it's just not good enough what they have brought so far. I still see them as a team with the potential to beat everyone in the league if they manage to get things going similar to the end of last year. Cercle Brugge so far had a really bad year playing well below what they should be capable of based on what they showed last season despite no longer having Matondo. They have been valued based on last season which made them go just 1W-7.5L-0.5P against the Asian handicap mainly having underish matches because of their hard time scoring goals. They recently fired their coach who was the reason last season things turned around with his pressing-style and I'm not sure what their identity will be from here on out. I am convinced that they can do better and are no real relegation candidate and in that regard, I aim to back them going forward if they can turn things around and get in a good run. The only bet I'm cautiously am willing to get into in Under 2.75 @ 1.927 for just 0.15 units. Cercle likely would sign for a draw and AA Gent for a narrow win where they can conserve energy. There is no reason why the scoring problem of Cercle would be solved especially against AA Gent who have one of the better defenses in the league.

Kortrijk vs Antwerp

Kortrijk did not manage to turn things around after their coach change and based on what they have brought so far they can be considered a relegation candidate. Despite this fact, they still managed to slightly beat their Asian handicap suggesting that they aren't actually overrated on the betting market. They are the 2nd worse scoring team in the league with 6 goals in 9 matches just above Cercle which reflects in the unders that went 5W-2.5L-1.5P against the closing total. Antwerp on the other hand is unbeaten in the league winning all 9 of their matches so far also crushing the asian handicaps going 7W-1.5L-0.5L. They have been rock solid getting only 6 goals against but it also must be said that things have not gone against them and their finishing % is crazy high since they rank pretty low on the shots on target table. Usually, they take a good start and manage to score early to control things afterward. For me, this is a classic 1.6 type-away-odds situation which makes me willing to just take a tiny stab of 0.15 units on Antwerp -0.5 @ 1.735 as it would be quite the surprise if they didn't continue their winning streak. Antwerp tends to have most of their goals in the 1st half with 67% while Kortrijk at is the opposite with only 33%. The same difference can be seen on the corners with Kortrijk going to at least 12 in their last 5 games while Antwerp went under 9.5 in all of their 9 games.

Sint-Truiden vs Eupen

Stvv right now is 10th in the league and they have shown good things so far mostly on the defensive end while the only real danger offensively comes from Koita who only tends to come in later in their matches. A remarkable stat is that Stvv is way better on the road while one would think that their home artificial pitch would give them an advantage. Eupen on the other hand is 16th and has been one of the worst performing teams against the asian handicap going 2W-7L so far. They are able to put up surprising results as in a win away against Westerlo. Eupen is not the team to crawl back and this shows in the corners as they haven't lost a matchup in their last 6 matches. This made me take 0.168 units on Eupen +2 Corners @ 1.850 with an eye to possibly take more in-game.
