The Belgian League resumes again today after the international break so I'm back with previews on all the matches and I'm looking to keep up my same routine mostly because I just really enjoy the entire process of following the league trying to beat this market. So far after 14 weeks and 616 bets, I'm up +4.34% and I am mainly looking at making sure I will remain profitable overall not taking too much risk on the number of bets or the stakes even though I could handle to increase them by a lot right now. If something comes along the way I see that is worth a bigger bet I won't hesitate though. One match today.
KV Mechelen vs Club Brugge
KV Mechelen has been on a good run which was broken in the last match before the international break at home against a Defensive Stvv. Overall they simply were not good enough to really cause problems to a well-organized Stvv. Their winning streak which allowed them to climb up to 4th place in the standings also just mostly came against weaker teams. Mechelen remains an ok team and have put up good numbers overall at home.(4W-3L vs Asian Handicap) with a remarkable statistic that they have 58.3% of the goals (on average 2) in their home matches in the 1st half. I do expect them to bring a lot of enthusiasm early on in the match in front of their home fans. Club Brugge so far this season has performed horribly against the Asian handicaps they got assigned mostly because they too often play at 70% also having their focus in the Champions League. Despite the fact that they should be capable to outplay their opponents in any given game, they just haven't had the flow in doing so which makes it a tricky situation for betting as it's just hard to predict. They have however performed better away compared to home where they are 3W-2L-2P vs the Asian handicap. Their last 4 away matches had an average of 14 corners. Potential live bets I will look out for in this match are 1st Half Over, Corners Over, Club Brugge in case Mechelen takes a hot start the first 15 minutes followed by them not being able to maintain it while the odds went up.
