Really solid results yesterday in Europe and also some nice betting profit to start this week quite well. Right now, there are just 2 weeks left in the regular season with a lot to play for still for most teams so it should be interesting and I'm looking to find some solid spots.
Eupen vs Zulte-Wargem
Eupen is 4 points clear of Zulte-Waregem and the visitors are in a spot where only a win will do while a draw for Eupen is enough. Zulte-Waregem however is without a win in their last 13 matches and Eupen is without a win in their last 7. Zulte managed to score 2 goals in 4 of their last 5 matches but continue to have the worst defense in the league. Eupen failed to score in their last 317 minutes. Last week they were happy with the draw to put them in a spot where it is very likely that they will make it even if they lose today. Zute-Waregem generally is able to start matches quite well but always give it away at some point after which floodgates open resulting in scores of 3-2 / 0-2 / 2-2 / 2-6 / 4-2 in their last 5. This match for sure has the potential to get wild which often is the case when the away team needs to take risks to get the win. I did take a small initial 0.2 unit bet on
Over 2.75 @ 1.825 with an eye to take more in-game as I do expect goals more toward the end of the match. I will also be keeping an eye out for a potential corners bet but need much better limits in order to take anything on that.
Cercle Brugge vs Sint-Truiden
This is a match with not much left to play for. If Cercle Brugge wins, they might still have a small chance of Playoff 2 on the last week so I do expect them to fully go for it not shying back to take risks. They also have been in a decent form as of late putting ok performances against good teams while taking the wins against weaker teams. Sint-Truiden has nothing left to play for and many players will be leaving the team next season. They did manage to win with 5-0 at home last weekend against Oostende while otherwise they always have issue to score. There is a motivation gap in this match for sure but at the same time, Stvv tends to be best on the counters. Similar to some of their previous home matches, I see Cercle taking the initiative and trying to score early. In the past this often resultes in many corners for them. Stvv lost their previous 2 away matches on the corners with 13-1 & 8-4. I did take an initial 0.2 unit bet on
Cercle Brugge 1H -1 corners @ 1.808 with an eye to possibly take more in-game. I'm not willing to take the gamble on a -0.75 FT line for Cercle to win.
Oostende vs OH Leuven
Oostende needs a win and only a win today that is if Eupen loses at home to Zulte-Waregem. In all other cases, they start this match already being relegated. Things are going really bad for Oostende and there is a lot of conflict in the team with some players wanting to go on strike if the coach wasn't replaced as they are fed up with the naive pressing style which simply isn't working. Last weekend they lost 5-0 to stvv in a match where they got 5.05 expected goals against and against a team that so far had the 2nd worst offense so far this season. Ambrose who was one of the protesting players is out of the selection and it's just hard to see a scenario for me where all of a sudden they turn things around and start playing well keeping the sheets clean as the 2nd worst defense in the league. OHL is safe and doesn't really have anything to play for anymore which is to only real factor speaking against them. They did manage to win with 4-1 against Mechelen last week playing a solid match and Maertens back has helped them a lot in the most recent matches. The week before, they also played a good match away against Genk in what in the end was a wide-open match. If Eupen loses, they need to take risks and leave a lot of space while if Eupen takes a draw or better it all doesn't matter anymore and it's hard to see them put up a performance that is strong. Overall OH Leuven is simply the better team and they have shown good form recently despite having nothing left to play for. Another Oostende Collapse scenario for me is likely enough to take the gamble of 0.3 units on
OH Leuven -1 @ 4.228 and 0.3 units on
OH Leuven Team Total Over 1.5 @ 2.006 which still leaves me some room to get in more in-game. I also took a bunch of Crypto Bets of 10000 WGR on

Westerlo vs Club Brugge
Westerlo has had a slight dip in form and they still are not sure yet of a playoff 2 spot but have a match left against Seraing in case they don't win today to make sure if this so there should be no real stress. More so a drive to potentially seal playoff 2 today already. Club Brugge is still in fight for playoff 1 but right now they don't have matters into their own hands anymore in case AA Gent wins both of their matches. So only a win for them today will do. Their form has been mixed not convincing against Seraing last week despite the 2-0 win. Olson is back for them after 2 months of injury which should help and intrinsically they are the team with more quality today. However this hasn't resulted in them playing a good season and there is just not enough indication right now to actually risk betting on them. At the same time Westerlo hasn't shown enough to consider betting them as the home underdog. Westerlo at home is 12W-3L-1P on the asian total over now in a match where the visitors absolutely need to go for a win which makes me believe it will be quite an entertaining match. For now there is nothing that really stands out and I will be waiting for potential in-game spots.
