Cryptocurrency market is going through a rough face these days for sure. Every single day, there comes some news which tanks the market indefinitely. Starting with South Korea crypto banning, market hasn't seen a uniform 'green' movement in crypto space. Bitcoin dropped under $8000 currently because of a new crypto FUD.
Google is now banning all cryptocurrencies related Ads starting from June 2018.
Well, Google is the most popular and commonly used search engine for every individual or company alike. A majority of revenue of Google comes from its Advertisement business. Google Adwords are being used by majority of advertisers to post their specific product onto the Google web searches as well as websites. But now, Google has clearly announced to revoke crypto related ads on their platform.
Actually for sometime, various crypto advertisers using Google Adwords were noticing a drastic decline in number of views on their crypto related ads, although Google declined any solid decision making to ban crypto related ads at that time. But yesterday Google officially announced this decision.
Under Google New Financial Product policy, no advertisement for cryptocurrencies and related content including Crypto exchanges, ICO's, Decentralized exchanges, crypto trading activities are approved.
As per this source, Scott Spencer, the Director of Sustainable Ads at Google told in an interview that:
"We don't have a crystal ball to know where the future is going to go with cryptocurrencies, but we've seen enough consumer harm or potential for consumer harm that it's an area that we want to approach with extreme caution.”
Cryptocurrencies ads have already banned by Facebook recently and now Google crypto ads banning will definitely affect the crypto market indefinitely. It might be the reason of latest Bitcoin drop under $8000.
Thanks for reading ...!!
I don’t think banning crypto ads is a terribly bad thing. Obviously it will decrease the amount of new interest into the cryptosphere but I also think it will weed out a lot of the shitty/scammy coins that can prey on the vulnerable. Hopefully create a bit more legitimacy for the actual solid coins too

True USA did ban ICO and were pretty positive when they talked about it a few weeks after which show that they wanted to protect their citizens as I think facebook and google are trying to protect their customers. Whereas someone called Bill Gates is protecting it's own interest. He knows what blockchain can bring to the world but he seems to need more money maybe.. Who knows what drive a such guy

Google can ban all cryptocurrency-related advertising of every type in June 2018, in step with a recent update to their money Services policy. The news of a crypto ad ban comes simply days when crypto advertisers victimization Google Adwords noticed a forceful come by the amount of views of their advertisements, in step with posts on the Adwords support pages. However, Google Adwords had at that point denied any amendment in their money Services rules that may block cryptocurrency or Initial Coin providing (ICO) connected advertisements.Under Google’s fresh updated money product policy, no advertisements for “cryptocurrencies and connected content (including however not restricted to initial coin offerings, cryptocurrency exchanges, cryptocurrency wallets, and cryptocurrency commercialism advice),” are accepted.
The move affects all of Google's ad product, which means firms won't be ready to serve crypto-related ads on the computer programme giant’s own sites, likewise as third-party sites in its network.

I personally think it is a good thing for a few reasons.
It stops the ICOs with the biggest budget simply steamrolling great innovative projects. Any website can get clicks and views if they have a huge marketing budget for Google Adwords.
It forces ICOs to think outside of the box and reach their communities in other ways, platforms like Crowdholding will be the future, as no longer will they be able to just spam people to come to their site, but will have to engage them through co-creation.
It gives more power to bounties, people will spread the word of the ICO that has either got the best bounty campaign or a project they believe in. Although bounties can be manipulated by offering large sums, it is still better than google Adwords.
The only thing I don't like is that Google is clearly trying to strangle crypto. It's just underhand tactics to break the price, so they can invest into it or scare off users of crypto.
Upvoted for a great article, keep up the good work!
