Today at the age of 91 died a legendary founder of Playboy Magazine Hugh Hefner. He sure knew how to live life and will hardly ever be forgotten. R.I.P Hugh Heffner!

Sad news indeed!
Whether you agree with the concept of the magazine or not or his lifestyle, there's cultural relevance that will live on in history.
Time will tell if the brand will survive, but that's the next chapter in the story.
I expect the commemorative books and versions of past magazines are selling like crazy today.

I think it would be hard to find someone who lived his own dreams more than Hugh did. At the beginning of his carrier it was really hard to start with somethng what is so extremly common now adays. I am not judging wether I like his professional career or not, but indeed he ccould have never been sorry in his life for anything he did not do or did not try to do. R.I.P

Well anyone's passing is sad and Hugh Hefner had quite an impact. I am not a feminist but I do believe women have plenty to offer whether it be brains or beauty, or both. I was often taken to the Playboy Club in Park Lane in London in the 1960's by a dear (platonic) friend, as a fun place to have a drink and a meal. The Bunny girls were always sweet and we had lots of laughs. Hefner also had good articles in his magazine and he encouraged lots of young writers, I applauded that. The rest was a bit of a joke. But he did have the last laugh. He lasted for quite a time until people got a bit fed up with it all.
