Why the Dutch Farmer Protest Is Your Cause, Too

What? “We have to move away from the low-cost model of food production,” one member of the Dutch Parliament explained.

I mean it all makes sense right? If you want to reduce climate change and you believe that CO2 is the primary driver and you believe that humans are the primary CO2 producers then what better way to fix the problem than to starve as many people as you can? This isn't conspiracy, it is what the Netherlands is currently trying to do.

You may think I am exaggerating but I really do not think so. According to the linked article, the Netherlands is one of the largest food exporters in the world, second only to the United States. Most countries are food importers. Many of those are third world countries that already have problems with feeding the population. What do you think happens when the price of food rises drastically or we "move away from the low-cost model of food production?" And it is not even just poor countries that will have issues. This is nothing less than attempted genocide against the poor and disadvantaged. Even if that is not the intent, to intentionally ignore the potential consequences of such actions is just as bad.

I tend to believe that there are many ways to reduce carbon output or to mitigate the effects of carbon without resorting to mass starvation. If not, then perhaps we are better off just dealing with the consequences of climate change.
