I looked up and read the entire article that claims a pedophile wants his behavior to be accepted. Unfortunately, it is entirely UNTRUE. The point of the original article at Salon.com is that pedophilia is such a stigmatized mental disorder that people don't seek treatment and/or support groups for people trying to fight the urge to have sex with children. As a result, they are MORE of a danger to society, not less.

Moreover, it's illogical to group bestiality and child molestation with other unconventional/nontraditional sexual practices because both involve a party that cannot give consent to the act. The original argument for same-sex marriage was that it was between two loving, consenting adults.
