Ayup. Sidebar: My first wife was a teacher...she used to get upset with me when I would tell her that the only way to fix the school system was to burn it down and begin anew.

I guess I'm an optimist, Everitt. There was a time (pre-Dewey) when the system served the community well. In spite of Dewey, it continued to do so until the 60s...I'd like to think if we ever manage to purge the "progressives", we can clean up the mess, even though it will take a few generations.
