Human rights group based in Bangkok, Thailand, Fortify Rights, on Friday (1/9) published the findings of the cruelty of the Myanmar army against Rohingya ethnic in Myanmar.

Based on testimony from witnesses from the village of Chut Pyin, Rathedaung cited by Fortify Rights, Myanmar soldiers beheaded children and burned alive the Rohingyas.

The report claims that about 200 men, women and children of Rohingyas have been killed by Burmese soldiers. The soldiers were reportedly detaining a group of Rohingya men, leading them to a bamboo hut and burning them alive.

"My brother was killed, (the Myanmar army) burned them with others," Fortify Rights quoted Abdul Rahman (41), a resident of Chut Pyin, as reported by the Telegraph on Saturday (2/9).

According to Abdul, he found other members of his family in a field. On the bodies of his dead family members were found marks of shots and incisions of sharp objects.

"Two of my nephews, his head is gone. One was six years old and the other was nine. My brother-in-law was shot, "Abdul said.

The Fortify Rights report was released a week after on August 25, the Arakan Liberation Arakan Rohingya (ARSA) attacked 30 security posts. On Friday, the Burmese government said 400 people were killed in the August 25 violence.

The military and the government claim it is difficult to distinguish between civil society and rebel groups (ARSA) during military operations in northern Rakhine.
